I grew up in north Essex, so Lovejoy was essential viewing each week as we played "spot the location".

There's an arty market in the old non-conformist chapel in Dedham which includes a stall devoted to dolls houses and their furnishings. Dedham is very Lovejoy, so I'm sure those doll houses furnishings would bring Lovejoy vibes!

It's amusing when people buy a sofa on ebay thinking what a bargain, but in fact it's for dolls.

Ebay is great for tiny antiques. My grandmother, who was very handy, made a whole lot for an old doll's house (really old, called a baby house) and rigged up electricity too. My father in law's brother, who was much older than him and already a well known artist, painted a picture for his dolls house. They were very modern. Alas I inherited none of it. My doll's furniture is lovely but the size for normal sized dolls, not little house dwelling ones.

Your Lovejoy addiction made me laugh. I had the same alphabet fridge magnets till we changed to a non-magnetic fridge door. Argh! Where to put the magnets?!
